On December 9, 2025, I registered vibecomputing.ai and gave a name to something I had been building toward: a computing paradigm where you describe what you want in natural language, and the system handles execution.
I called it Vibe Computing.
Vibe computing is the shift from operating computers to directing them. Instead of typing commands, you state your intent. The AI figures out the how. This generalizes Andrej Karpathy's "vibe coding" (February 2025) from software development to all computing tasks.
